Dr. Matthew Miller, a native Long Islander, has practiced locally for 8 years before caring for patients at Rocky Point Orthodontics. Dr. Miller attended Boston College, NYU College of Dentistry, and completed a General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University. He then completed an additional 3 years of training at NYU to become a Specialist in Orthodontics. At NYUCD, Dr. Miller graduated in the top 5% of his class and was invited into the OKU honor society. Dr. Miller is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor achieved by only one-third of practicing orthodontists. He is involved in research and has multiple publications on the History and Prevention of White Spots in orthodontics. Dr. Miller’s goal for every patient is to finish orthodontics with teeth that are not only straight, but healthy, and to achieve an overall sense of well-being.

Dr. Miller dedicates one day per week as Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine educating future orthodontists. He has been trained in the most state-of-the-art technology in the field of orthodontics.

Dr. Miller and his wife live locally on Long Island. In his spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys tennis, swimming, live music, and car shows.
